Liz Landau's Egg Casserole

2 cans of whole green chiles, drained
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup milk
4 eggs, lightly beaten
salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8x12 pan.

Line the bottom of the dish with a layer of chiles. Then top with 1/2 cup of cheese. Repeat layers twice.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Pour over layered chiles and cheese.
Bake 25-30 minutes, till filling is set.
Let cool 5-10 minutes before serving.

For something so simple, this is the best egg casserole I've ever eaten!!
